Jefferson County EMS was honored to be invited to Carson-Newman University's 2026 Nursing Camp to share with the next generation of healthcare professionals.

During the camp, our paramedics discussed the principles of mass casualty triage, conducted a simulated pediatric mass casualty incident, and explored the critical partnership between nursing and EMS in providing exceptional patient care. The future of healthcare depends on strong collaboration across disciplines, and we were proud to help demonstrate how nurses and EMS professionals work together to serve our communities when it matters most.

A special thank you to Carson-Newman University for the invitation and opportunity.
