The last 5 cranes. 🙏

January 1, 2025 at Turtle Yoga in Algiers Point, students, friends, neighbors and family met with a goal of folding 1000 cranes for Peace.
Our hearts were saddened that morning because of the Bourbon Street attack, so it was good to come together, fold cranes and hold peace in our hearts.
It's over a year later. I folded the last 5 cranes today. For me it was a folding journey that taught patience and perseverance.
Gratitude to all that helped fold.
I will now begin stringing and bundling the cranes for mailing to Hiroshima.
May all beings be happy and at peace.

The new website is not without errors. I just corrected a few.
A photo of the new space is below. To clarify a few things: No classes at 400 Belleville. The original studio sold in January. Appointments are held either at my home or at a prearranged place. I will travel for private yoga and Shamanic sessions. Reiki, Past Life Regression and BQH are offered in person and online.
All sessions are by appointment and must be made in advance. The BQH session requires a phone call for preparation instructions.
I hope to offer Sound Baths in the fall and some special meditation classes in a group setting. I am at All Yall Yoga tomorrow night. 😉 😉

Turtle Yoga travels across the bridge on July 8th! I will teach a Meditation class for the next 8 weeks at All Yall Yoga on Magazine Street.
Classes are designed for beginners, but all yall are welcome! These classes are casual with discussion and each one introduces a new style of meditation.

I'm getting a last practice in before I leave Taos tomorrow.
Here's the news: Starting July 1, 2026 I will be offering private reiki and Past Life Regression sessions in my home. The fee is $70 for each session.
New website is going up July 1st. If you want to schedule prior to the website activation, please call 469-285-2423. I am available Saturday thru Tuesday 9am to 7pm.

I have a "mini" altar to meditate at during my travels. It helps me stay close to Spirit and is a focus for meditation. I like to add items from the place I'm visiting. The Aragonite on the right I purchased at Taos Gem and Minerals. The sage on the left was tied by a man from Taos Pueblo. He places tied sage near the entrance for people who pass by. It is free, reminding us to share what we have with others and of the generosity of First Nations.

I had a challenging day today. I've planned my trip to Taos for six months and today I went to the airport to begin my journey.
I won't tell every detail, but my flight out of NOLA was 5 hours late. They rebooked my connection from DFW to Taos and then rebooked it again. And couldn't rebook a third time because no more flights.
But, the attendant in my section was pleasant. The man in the seat beside me was pleasant as he and I discussed possible options for me.
Before yoga, I would have ran for the bar and it probably would have been tequila shots. Today I had some nachos and talked with a fellow passenger.
Then, we arrived at DFW and I found I am booked on an 8:30am flight tomorrow to Taos. Where's my luggage? Not on the carousel. Track my bags says its off the plane. I go to to luggage counter and find it's being held for my connection in the morning.
But, the luggage counter man was nice and he gave me a cute little emergency bag with (thank you Shiva) a brush. It's kind of a weird little brush, but I can brush my hair!
Before yoga, I probably would have yelled at somebody or I would be unhappy and think about all the things that went wrong.
But, I'm okay. Tired, but okay. And I can sleep because anger isn't living in me.
Yoga has done this for me.
Take your yoga with you when you step off the mat.
