As promised! Let’s talk skincare 🧴

I discovered Remedy Science® from watching Dr. Muneeb Shah On Tik Tok. I loved that he combined “products” to cut down on the number of steps in a skincare routine. I’ve been making skincare cocktails forever! I want to do the 10 step Korean routine but I don’t always have time. Most of the time I’m late and rushing. So these products do just that, save time and my skin loves them. They absorb quickly and I have been getting compliments on my skin so people are noticing!

This is just 3 or many products I use 🥴 but these will stay in my rotation for now. And they just came out with a copper peptide and multi peptide serum that I want to buy next.🤦🏽‍♀️

Skin Is In🌟 (Details below)👇🏼

These days my focus is on having good healthy skin! I used to love a Mac powder foundation and blush but these days I find powders just accentuate texture and wrinkles. Living in the south 5 minutes out the house and I have sweated and wiped off half my makeup off. I’ve embraced the dewy glow and I’m loving it. I also like to keep my skin free of too much product that isn’t skincare because my skin has also become super prone to breakouts.

So this barely anything makeup look is my go to most days when I do wear makeup and it only takes 5 minutes! It’s the perfect amount to make you look put together and finish off a look. All products are linked in my bio. And let me know if you have any questions! Later Gator! 🐊

This summer, I turn 50.🙋🏽‍♀️

For so long, that number felt so far away and just , a bit scary. But somewhere along the way, I realized this isn’t something to fear. It’s something to celebrate.

I’m choosing to welcome this next chapter with open arms and call it my Golden Era.

Over the next few weeks, I’m taking you along for the ride as I count down to 50. I’ll be sharing the beauty products I’m trying, realistic wellness and nutrition tips, little lifestyle changes, and the everyday moments that bring me joy.

For years, many of us have poured ourselves into caring for everyone else. Now it’s our turn to unselfishly be a little selfish to rediscover who we are, invest in ourselves, and make our own happiness a priority.

So come along with me as I embrace this new season of life. Here’s to aging with confidence, finding joy in the little things, and stepping into our Golden Era… together. ✨💛

⏰ 1:40 PM – Drive to Bayou Barataria 🌿
⏰ 2:10 PM – All aboard with Louisiana Tour Company 🚤
⏰ 2:21 PM – Cruising into the bayou
⏰ 2:35 PM – Gator time! They swim right up to the boat looking for marshmallows. 🐊
⏰ 3:00 PM – Taking in the beauty of the Louisiana bayou
⏰ 3:30 PM – Time to meet a baby gator
⏰ 3:38 PM – My turn to hold Frankie! He was so soft. 💚

⏰ 3:55 PM – Heading back into the city
⏰ 4:59 PM – Souvenir shopping at the French Market before it closes 🛍️
⏰ 5:35 PM – Riding the historic streetcar down to the river 🚋
⏰ 5:45 PM – Exploring the Riverwalk
⏰ 5:51 PM – One more round of souvenir shopping before the stores close
⏰ 6:10 PM – Water break while we wait for the streetcar 💦
⏰ 6:49 PM – Streetcar back to the car

⏰ 7:15 PM – Heading home
⏰ 8:55 PM – Dinner at Auntie’s house. Gumbo is always a winner… even when it’s 100° outside. 😂🍲
⏰ 10:47 PM – The kids discovered UNO, and I love that this classic is still a hit. ❤️♠️
⏰ 10:50 PM – Just as we’re trying to leave, Auntie pulls out the Wii. 🎮🤣
⏰ 10:59 PM – Finally in bed with another round of red light therapy to calm the breakout from sweating all day. 🥴

Imagine my surprise when I see this lobster combo plate at Rouses Markets for $8.99. Of course I had to buy it!

The lobster was tender and had a little kick, so I know they gave him a little bath in the shrimp boil before packing it up. The shrimp and corn were delicious and full of flavor. I’ll be looking for this combo every time I’m shopping now!

I really hope this wasn’t a one off! This should definitely be a regular thing.

Day 2 of ESSENCE Festival of Culture at the New Orleans Convention Center - Gray’s perspective. Enjoy!

We really had a good time. The key is to get there early! Lines will get long, you won’t escape that. Hit beautycon first if you want products and then enjoy the stages and book fest after.
