Deep breaths, Here goes.
In 2018 I opened NOLA Pelvic Health because I wanted to offer care that was best for patients and needed a workplace that fit with my life as a mom. I hired in 2020, in 2021, and in 2022.
In 2023, I sold the clinic to Ashley and Claire. I was stretched thin being a mom, owning two businesses, and planning to write my first book. I was cracking.
Before I sold the clinic, I cried. I built a place that was my home, a team that was family, patients that were friends. I cried because it was the end of a chapter and because I couldn't do it all. Something had to move off my plate so I could be the mom, wife, and therapist I wanted to be. Selling meant accepting that reality.
I’ve continued to work at .pelvichealth for the past 3 yrs under Ashley and Claire's leadership. They have been the most supportive women I could have ever asked to work with. They've graciously given me the time I need to travel, work, mom and see patients. I am forever grateful.
Since 2023 I've written FLOORED, gone on book tour, built .v.hive app, hired to work alongside and continued to educate, empower and help women worldwide.
Now I'm at another crossroads- stretched thin, working 2 jobs, momming 2 kids, and feeling the need for space and change. I need time to get .v-hive app into doctors offices and healthcare companies. I believe more access to quality pelvic floor care is needed, and I want to continue to find ways to make that possible.
So after 20 years of practicing, I'm stepping away from patient care for a bit. This is not forever, I simply think this is for now.
I'll be working on .v.hive app and full time. I'll still be here on IG. And all of my patients will continue to get great care .pelvichealth.
I started this practice because people deserve access to quality pelvic floor care. That work isn't ending, it's just changing shape. Thank you to every patient who has trusted me with their care. Grateful doesn't feel like a big enough word for this one. So how about, see you again soon :)
