I was at the ball park until 11pm three times in the last week. Now I’m at a soccer practice at 10:30am in 96 degree heat on a Saturday morning. Y’all, I feel hungover… from youth sports. 😵‍💫

Pushing to make your p*e come out faster feels efficient. It is not. 🫣

Straining or "power-p*eing" actually 1️⃣ Causes you to empty LESS because your muscles tense up preventing complete emptying and 2️⃣ Can weaken your pelvic ligaments and muscles leading to leakage, prolapse and pressure.

Peeing is supposed to be relaxed. Your pelvic floor muscles need to let go and your bladder is actually a muscle that pushes the p*e out for you. So sit down, lean forward, breathe, and let your bladder do its job. No pushing, no hovering, no rushing.

Just chill. Your pelvic floor will thank you. 🫶🏻

How to use C-section silicone scar tape:
1️⃣ Start at six weeks. Once your incision is fully healed, you are ready to begin.
2️⃣ Build up gradually. A few hours a day at first, then work up to wearing it most of the day.
3️⃣ Commit to six months. Scar tissue remodels slowly. The women who see the biggest difference are the ones who stay consistent.
4️⃣ Clean and dry skin only. No lotions, oils, or moisture under the tape to help it properly stick.
5️⃣ Pair it with scar massage. Remove it for your massage and shower, then put it straight back on. One strip goes about a week.

The difference this makes for healing, tissue mobility, and preventing that C-section shelf is real. And it is one of the simplest things you can add to your recovery.
