Today, we proudly recognize Darla for an incredible 40 years of dedication to CKV!

Over the years, Darla has worked in nearly every position in the kitchen, giving her a wealth of knowledge and experience that is truly unmatched. Her expertise makes her an invaluable part of onboarding new hires, helping them learn the ropes and feel welcome from day one.

After four decades, she still proudly proclaims that she loves her job and the people she works with, and that positivity and commitment shine through in everything she does. Thank you, Darla!

Registration is now open for our fall sessions of Embracing Your Story, running September 14 through October 19! Whether you or a loved one is newly diagnosed with dementia or Alzheimer's disease or navigating the moderate stages of the journey, we have a supportive program designed to meet you where you are. Embracing You is designed for newly diagnosed individuals and their care partners, while Embracing Us is for individuals in the moderate stages of dementia or Alzheimer's disease and their care partners. Every session offers a welcoming space for meaningful learning, connection, and compassionate encouragement.

Registration is open through Friday, September 4, and space is limited. To reserve your spot, please call 717-624-5272. We look forward to walking alongside you on your journey!

Villagers have been active the past couple of weeks! Our Wellness team led chair volleyball and drum cardio over the July 4th holiday and then teamed up with Life Enrichment outside in the beautiful summer weather putting on a game of Wiffleball! The smiling faces show why Cross Keys Village is the best way to age in your preferred place.

Pet therapy volunteer Pam Cook and her therapy dog, Abbey, held a dance class for some canine-loving Villagers! Our volunteers bring a broad range of skills and talents to our campus every day!

Rain or shine, getting around campus is simple at Cross Keys Village! Our Campus Shuttle, powered by an amazing team of volunteers, helps Villagers travel comfortably throughout campus Monday–Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. It's just one of the many perks of calling Cross Keys Village home.

This morning, we were thrilled to celebrate the 20-year work anniversary of one of our dedicated night shift team members, Crystal. Joining the celebration were Night Shift Supervisor, Julie (R), and RN Coordinator, Jamie (L), who helped recognize this incredible milestone.

As a Nurse Aide on our Nursing Services team, Crystal has spent the past two decades providing compassionate care and support to residents in our Healthcare Center. Reflecting on her journey, Crystal shared that she always knew this would be a long-term career and that it’s the residents who have made her work so meaningful and rewarding.

Thank you, Crystal, for 20 years of unwavering dedication and commitment to those you serve. Your impact is felt every shift, and we are grateful to have you as part of our team.

Becky recently surprised Margie with a lovely lily she picked just for her, bringing the biggest smile to Margie’s face. It’s a small, heartfelt gesture that speaks volumes about their beautiful friendship.
