Seasonal Threshold: Water to Wood

As winter softens into spring, we enter a threshold between the deep stillness of Water and the awakening energy of Wood. This workshop supports that seasonal transition through easeful yoga flow, Five Element–inspired qigong, breathwork, acupressure, and restorative poses. The practice encourages a gentle “thaw,” helping the body release winter stagnation while cultivating steadiness, clarity, and the first stirrings of spring vitality.
This five-part workshop series explores the wisdom of the Five Elements — Water, Wood, Fire, Earth, and Metal — and their connection to natural rhythms. Each two-hour session blends gentle yoga, Five Element–inspired qigong, breathwork, acupressure, restorative poses, and quiet reflection. Practicing in harmony with seasonal cycles can help regulate the nervous system, restore balance, and cultivate sustainable vitality throughout the year.
