High temperatures can be dangerous, especially for:

👵 Older adults
❤️ People with heart disease or high blood pressure
🫁 Those with chronic lung disease
🤰 Pregnant individuals
💊 Anyone taking medications that can affect hydration or heat tolerance
Stay safe by:
💧 Drinking plenty of water throughout the day—even if you don't feel thirsty.
🏠 Staying in air-conditioned buildings whenever possible.
👒 Wearing lightweight, light-colored clothing and a hat if you must be outdoors.
☀️ Avoiding strenuous outdoor activities during the hottest part of the day (10 AM–4 PM).
🚗 Never leaving children, older adults, or pets in a parked vehicle, even for a few minutes.
⚠️ Seek medical attention immediately if you or a loved one develops confusion, fainting, chest pain, difficulty breathing, or signs of heat stroke such as a body temperature above 103°F, hot/red skin, or loss of consciousness.
Please take extra care of yourself, check on elderly neighbors and family members, and make sure pets have plenty of fresh water and shade.
Stay cool and stay safe!
