Stevenson Memorials has recently came into new management as of April 2013. The current owners are Steckman's Memorials (Since 1921) out of Calcutta OH.

It will remain Stevenson Memorials as the previous owner Clare Stevenson was at the age of retirement and wanted to turn it over to another reputable company.

A Family Legacy, Beautifully United.

This stunning Hershberger family plot is a perfect example of what can be achieved when craftsmanship, attention to detail, and customer vision come together.

Featuring three custom upright monuments, each standing an impressive 56 inches tall, the entire memorial was designed and installed on a single 25-foot-long foundation, creating a cohesive and visually striking family tribute. Every monument tells its own story through personalized artwork, porcelain photos, and meaningful details, while still blending seamlessly into one unified memorial space.

What makes this project especially meaningful is the amount of care that went into the design process. The Hershberger family worked closely with our team through multiple design revisions, carefully refining every element until each monument perfectly reflected their loved ones and their family’s vision.

Today we remember Clare Stevenson, the longtime owner of Stevenson Memorials, who passed away at the age of 83.

During the transition of ownership in 2013, I had the privilege of working alongside him during that first year of transition. It was a time I’ll always be grateful for. Clare shared not only his knowledge of the monument business, but also the heart behind it, serving families with compassion as they honor their loved ones.

I’ll always remember our lunches at Dee’s, which Clare jokingly insisted on calling “dinner.” Those moments were filled with laughter, stories, and wisdom.

Clare was respected and loved by his staff, and it meant a lot to see how all the staff stayed through the transition because of the care they had for him.

On behalf of our family and the staff at Stevenson Memorials, we extend our heartfelt condolences to Clare’s family. We are grateful for the time we had with him and the legacy he leaves behind.

Rest in peace, Clare. Your legacy continues.
