The nervous system should be able to reset naturally from Sympathetic to Parasympathetic mode. Unfortunately, prolonged states in Sympathetic (fight or flight mode) lead to many bodily ills and creates space for anger, tension, lack of motivation, inflammation of the body and so many more dysfunctions.
