What happens after cancer treatment ends? Finishing treatment is supposed to feel like relief - but many survivors say it is one of the hardest parts. While treatment may be over, the physical, emotional, and practical challenges of survivorship are often just beginning.

That is why the Cancer Center of Western Wisconsin is launching a new 6-episode podcast series dedicated to cancer survivorship. Through expert conversations, we will explore topics such as emotional well-being, nutrition, follow-up care, healthy lifestyle habits, and navigating life after cancer.

🌻 With summer now in full swing, it's a great time to remember that early detection is one of the most important tools in the fight against skin cancer. While you're making the most of the season ☀️ don't forget to protect your skin and pay attention to any new or changing spots.
The American Cancer Society encourages everyone to become familiar with their skin and perform regular self-checks. If you notice something new or changing, don't wait - talk with your healthcare provider. Regular skin exams can be especially important for people with risk factors such as a personal or family history of skin cancer, frequent sun exposure, or a history of severe sunburns.
