When a loved one leaves the hospital, families are entrusting us with someone they deeply love. That’s not a small thing.

Our support comes from the everyday moments — staff members who know residents by name, care teams that communicate closely, and spaces designed to feel welcoming, comfortable, and connected.

For more than 100 years, families in our community have relied on us to help residents feel seen, heard, and cared for every day.

Your brain health starts earlier than you think 🧠

A new study published in the Journal of Alzheimer’s & Dementia found that everyday activities like socializing, learning new skills, making art, exercising, or even traveling can help protect brain health in midlife and beyond.

Even more encouraging? Researchers found that a variety of activities may help strengthen cognitive resilience, even for those with a higher genetic risk of Alzheimer’s.

At our Assisted Living and Memory Care residences, we see every day how staying socially, physically, and mentally engaged supports overall well-being and quality of life for seniors.

We’re still feeling the love from an unforgettable evening honoring 50 years of leadership and service from Rita Mabli.

In this moving moment from our Annual Gala Dinner Dance, Rita reflects on the people, partnerships, and purpose that shaped her extraordinary legacy at United Hebrew — reminding us all that none of it was done alone.

Her humility, compassion, and deep commitment to residents, families, and staff have impacted countless lives and helped shape United Hebrew into the community it is today. Thank you, Rita, for leading with heart for the past five decades💙

A barbershop quartet paid a visit to United Hebrew and transported our residents back to another time. Four voices -- no filler -- just pure, old-fashioned harmony. This is what a thriving community looks like.

United Hebrew CEO Mark Sanchez was invited by U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand to join a select group of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) leaders for a conversation on the issues that matter most to our communities.

Mark brought the voices of aging adults and their families to that table — people navigating a long-term care system that is increasingly difficult to access and even harder to afford.
