Your brain health starts earlier than you think 🧠

A new study published in the Journal of Alzheimer’s & Dementia found that everyday activities like socializing, learning new skills, making art, exercising, or even traveling can help protect brain health in midlife and beyond.

Even more encouraging? Researchers found that a variety of activities may help strengthen cognitive resilience, even for those with a higher genetic risk of Alzheimer’s.

At our Assisted Living and Memory Care residences, we see every day how staying socially, physically, and mentally engaged supports overall well-being and quality of life for seniors.

United Hebrew CEO Mark Sanchez was invited by U.S. Senator Kirsten Gillibrand to join a select group of Asian American, Native Hawaiian, and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) leaders for a conversation on the issues that matter most to our communities.

Mark brought the voices of aging adults and their families to that table — people navigating a long-term care system that is increasingly difficult to access and even harder to afford.
