A little movement can make a big difference. 💜

Some mornings at Sutton Park Center, residents gather for Morning Movement, led by our wonderful Recreation Aide, Jade. Through guided seated exercises, music, and laughter, residents work on strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance while enjoying the company of friends.

It’s more than exercise, it’s an opportunity to stay active, build confidence, and connect with one another in a fun, supportive environment.

He came to the hospital for a hernia repair. He never imagined the journey that would follow.

After unexpected complications led to the loss of his leg, and eventually becoming a double amputee, Brent arrived at Sutton Park Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation determined to regain his strength and independence.

His story is also deeply personal to us. Before becoming a patient, he was part of the Sutton Park family, working in our kitchen and preparing meals for residents. Today, that same community is helping support him through his rehabilitation journey.

Recovery isn’t always about where you start…it’s about refusing to stop moving forward. 💙

Due to the forecasted rain, we have made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s Fourth of July Community BBQ.

While we’re disappointed we won’t be able to celebrate with you this time, the safety and comfort of our guests always come first.

We can’t wait to welcome everyone back in August for our annual End of Summer Back-to-School Backpack Event! Stay tuned for more details, we’re looking forward to another fun day together with our community. 🎒
