Today we had the pleasure of celebrating one of the newer members of our Lexington Place family—our friend and resident Sally!

While Sally may not be a regular at every scheduled activity, it certainly didn't take her long to find her people!
❤️ She's quickly become part of a wonderful circle of mealtime friends and can often be found enjoying good conversation with her lounge and coffee buddies.

Today, we managed to catch Sally a little by surprise with some special birthday attention—and those are sometimes the very best celebrations! 🥰🎈
One of the things we love most about community life is that friendships don't only happen during scheduled activities. Sometimes they begin over a cup of coffee, across the dinner table, or simply while relaxing together in the lounge. ☕❤️

🎱✨ The Future Looks Bright at Lexington Place! ✨🎱

Today is August 8th—8/8—and we couldn't resist celebrating with a little mystical fun at Happy Hour!

Our residents gathered around the legendary Magic 8-Ball to ask some of life's most important questions.

🔮 Would good luck be headed our way? Will someone win at Bingo this week? Is another adventure in our future? And just how much faith should we really put in a plastic ball filled with mysterious answers?! 😂

There were predictions, plenty of questions, lots of laughter, and perhaps a few answers that required an immediate “ASK AGAIN LATER!”

Of course, nobody took our fortune-telling too seriously. The real magic was spending another afternoon together, sharing laughs, swapping stories, and discovering what the future might hold.

And according to the Magic 8-Ball, will there be more fun ahead at Lexington Place???

🍻 Cheers to International Beer Day at Lexington Place! 🍻

Our adventurous residents raised a glass today as we celebrated International Beer Day with a fun and flavorful Beer Tasting Happy Hour!

Everyone sampled three very different brews, each bringing its own unique personality to the table:

🍊 Corona Sunbrew Citrus Cerveza – A light, refreshing beer with bright orange and lime citrus notes.

🥒 Donna's Pickle Beer Lager – The surprise of the afternoon! This one definitely sparked plenty of laughs, curious expressions, and great conversations. Some residents loved it... others weren't quite convinced—but everyone agreed it was unforgettable!

🥃 Kentucky Bourbon Barrel Imperial Milk Stout – A rich, full-bodied stout with hints of chocolate, roasted coffee, and bourbon barrel aging that finished our tasting on a bold note.

Along the way, residents enjoyed learning about each beer's flavor profile, sharing their opinions, and discovering that trying something new is half the fun! There was plenty of laughter, friendly debate over favorites, and wonderful conversation throughout Happy Hour.

At Lexington Place, we're always looking for creative ways to bring people together, explore new experiences, and make every day a little more memorable.

Today, our wonderful friend and resident Syd celebrated an incredible milestone—98 trips around the sun! 🌞

What a joy it was to gather together to celebrate this special occasion with smiles, laughter, birthday wishes, and plenty of love from friends and neighbors.

Birthdays like this remind us that every year brings new memories to make and new reasons to celebrate.

A big thank you to our wonderful friends and partners from Encompass Health for hosting this month's Blood Pressure Clinic at Lexington Place Senior Living!

Residents stopped by to have their blood pressure checked, visit with the friendly Encompass team, and take an important step toward staying healthy.

As an added bonus, every blood pressure check earned an entry into a special raffle—making wellness even more rewarding!

We're excited to share that Encompass Health will be back on the first Friday of every month, giving our residents another convenient opportunity to monitor their health and connect with a caring healthcare team.

🎶🕺 Rock Around the Clock at Lexington Place! 🎤🎸

Today we took a trip back to 1957 as we celebrated the anniversary of the debut of American Bandstand—and what better way to celebrate than with an afternoon filled with music, laughter, and dancing!

Jerry Falzone had everyone tapping their toes, singing along to favorite classics, sharing jokes, and filling the room with smiles. From timeless tunes to spontaneous dancing, the energy was contagious and the memories were priceless!

There's something special about music that brings people together, and today was a wonderful reminder that great songs never go out of style.

A heartfelt thank you to Jerry Falzone for another fantastic performance and for helping us turn our Happy Hour into our very own Lexington Place Bandstand! 🎶❤️

🎉🎂 Happy Belated Birthday, Marlene! 🎂🎉

Yesterday, our wonderful friend and resident Marlene celebrated her birthday, and we'd like to wish her a very Happy Belated Birthday! 🥳💐

Marlene and her husband, Darrell, are truly an important part of the Lexington Place family. Whether they're joining us for morning exercise, trying their luck at BINGO, enjoying live entertainment, sharing laughs during Happy Hour, or taking their regular morning walks, they're always eager to be involved and help make our community such a welcoming place.

Marlene is also one of our amazing residents! She graciously volunteers to give prospective residents and their families a personal tour of her apartment, helping them experience the warmth, friendliness, and sense of community that make Lexington Place feel like home.

Together, Marlene and Darrell also help keep our courtyard looking beautiful, and they're always among the first to lend a helping hand whenever it's needed. Their kindness, generosity, and community spirit make Lexington Place a better place for everyone.

Marlene, we hope your birthday was filled with happiness, laughter, and the company of those who care about you. Thank you for everything you do to make our community so special.

🍉❤️💚 What a Refreshing Way to Celebrate National Watermelon Day! 💚❤️🍉

Today at Lexington Place, we celebrated National Watermelon Day in sweet summertime style!

Residents enjoyed fresh, juicy watermelon chunks along with an incredibly refreshing Watermelon Ginger Ale, making for the perfect afternoon treat on a warm Florida day. 🍉🥤

To make the celebration even more colorful, we invited everyone to join in our Dress-Up Day: Red and/or Green! It was wonderful to see so many residents wearing bright watermelon-inspired colors, filling our community with smiles, laughter, and plenty of summer spirit.

The fun continued during Happy Hour with watermelon-themed facts, trivia, and conversation as residents shared memories of family picnics, backyard gardens, summer vacations, and enjoying watermelon with family and friends through the years.

Sometimes the simplest celebrations create the sweetest memories...and today was certainly one of them! 🍉☀️
