Smores please! Gorgeous night to have a fire and make smores! We could not do this without help from our volunteers: Teri, Dakota, and John, and all the awesome staff that helped! We even brought smores inside for those that didnt make it out and the staff! This is an annual event and always one of our favorites!

Paula Evers - Congratulations on your 27 year work Anniversary!!! Paula has worked in laundry and housekeeping over her career at Oak Hills! She has a keen attention to details, making sure things are getting done as they should. Whether she is out and about with a laundry or housekeeping cart you will always see her with her cheerful smile and waving as she goes by. Paula thank you for your dedication and service through the years!

Annual Oak Hills Fair! Not everyone was able to make it out to the Brown County Fair so we put on a fair of our own. Complete with a duck pull for a chance at a beanie baby, ring toss for a pop, knocking down pins to win a blanket, mini golf, guessing jars, ‘got milk’ photos, and of course fair food - cheese curds, mini corn dogs, and funnel cake fries!!! (The ‘got milk’ photos will be posted later! Thank you to Ruth K for letting us borrow her cow mugs!).

We want to take a moment to recognize our staff that work on our rehab unit (Also known as Neighborhood 3 and Deer Haven). This team needs to be on their toes as things change on a daily basis. They receive great joy from watching a resident come in, work hard in therapy, and get to return home. They work closely with our Blue Stone therapy team (PT, OT, ST), as well as our dietician and nursing specialists to help residents get back to functioning at their highest level. They have the most admissions and discharges in our building. They handle it all with care and compassion. Thank you for your dedication and commitment! (Please note - not all the staff that work on Neighborhood 3 are in the photos)

What National day did you celebrate today? We had creamsicle drinks for social hour for creamsicle day!!! For staff we celebrated spa day by encouraging them to wear comfy clothes and write a shout out to each other. Each shout out was put in for a drawing to win a spa basket.
