Random thoughts incoming:
Maybe you are good enough...
Do a lot, travel a lot, be a lot, practice this, look like this, talk like that.
You've tried it, I've tried it... And what happened?
๏ปฟHighly doubt much changed.
Then you went to find the next mission, the next escape, the next goal.
๏ปฟBecause goal setting, achieving and "not caring" while doing it all is called "winning" today...
And now what is happening?...
๏ปฟHow do you feel?
๏ปฟHow full is your cup?
๏ปฟProbably not much because the next popular thing, trend, personality trait, person, situation has already appeared, claiming it will fill your cup a bit more.
Stop. ๏ปฟJust stop.
Now that doesn't mean become stationary, complacent, abort everything, do nothing.
๏ปฟIt means just pause and observe this current one moment.
๏ปฟThis current moment carries the most energetic power because it's in here that you can create a fresh frequency, make real movement & make a change.
๏ปฟThat trend, trait, person, thing won't.
๏ปฟRight now will.
"Mindfulness" has become a clichรฉ.
๏ปฟI truly mean: Look around, see what's been done, happened, how you feel, that the World has not ended, you're still here and hopefully healthy...
๏ปฟAnd smile. Drop those worries, hopes, desires, goals, criticisms, and for one moment flush yourself with a beginner's mindset & fresh energy.
๏ปฟYou'll likely see this moment and you are good enough right now.
I leave you with this parable from Buddha:
A man traveling across a field encountered a tiger. He fled, the tiger after him. Coming to a precipice, he caught hold of the root of a wild vine and swung himself down over the edge. The tiger sniffed at him from above. Trembling, the man looked down to where, far below, another tiger was waiting to eat him. Only the vine sustained him...
Then 2 mice: 1 white and 1 black, little by little started to gnaw away the vine. The man saw a luscious strawberry near him. Grasping the vine with one hand, he plucked the strawberry with the other.
How sweet it tasted!
Maybe right now is good enough.
