How Does Cancer Spread?
As shown in this image, cancer does not remain confined to one location. Some cancer cells break away from the primary tumor and travel through the bloodstream or lymphatic system to other parts of the body, where they form new tumors. This process is called metastasis, or the spread of cancer.
Scientists are still investigating the molecular changes and factors that cause cancer cells to detach from their original site and migrate to other parts of the body. Understanding these underlying mechanisms is essential for developing more effective treatments in the future.
The spread of cancer makes treatment more challenging because the disease is no longer limited to a single location. Therefore, early diagnosis, regular medical checkups, and timely treatment play a crucial role in controlling cancer. Awareness, prevention, and early detection are powerful tools that can help save lives.
سرطان څنګه خپرېږي؟
په دې انځور کې تاسې لیدلی شئ چې سرطان یوازې په یوه ځای کې نه پاتې کېږي. د اصلي تومور څخه ځینې سرطاني حجرې جلا کېږي، د وینې یا لمفا د لارې د بدن نورو برخو ته سفر کوي او هلته نوي سرطان جوړوي. دې پروسې ته مېټاستاز یا د سرطان خپرېدل ویل کېږي.
ساینس پوهان لا هم په دې څېړنه کوي چې کوم مالیکولي بدلونونه او کوم عوامل سرطاني حجرې دې ته اړ باسي چې له اصلي ځاې څخه جلا شي او د بدن نورو برخو ته ته لاړ شې. د دې پټو میکانېزمونو پېژندل د راتلونکو اغېزمنو درملنو د رامنځته کولو لپاره ډېر مهم دي.
د سرطان خپرېدل د ناروغۍ درملنه سخته کوي، ځکه چې سرطان یوازې په یوه ځای کې نه وي پاتې. له همدې امله وختي تشخیص، منظمې طبي معاینې او پر وخت درملنه د سرطان په کنټرول کې ډېر مهم رول لري. پوهاوی، مخنیوی او وختي تشخیص زموږ د ژوند ژغورلو وسیلې دي.
