Taping can help reduce pain and discomfort associated with carpal tunnel syndrome. It may support the wrist, improve movement, and reduce pressure on the median nerve. Taping can also help decrease swelling and improve daily function. However, it should be used as a complementary treatment alongside other recommended therapies.

Thursday Therapy Thoughts

A generic exercise list is not the same as individualized care. Physical therapy uses assessment, education, symptom response, goals, and planned progression to tailor treatment over time. A physical therapist can help guide you. Source: Clinical study, Journal of Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy (Sluijs et al., 1993).

Why it Works Wednesday

Your work setup and daily habits may contribute to neck or back discomfort. Physical therapy looks at how you sit, move, and complete work tasks to identify practical adjustments that fit your body. The goal is greater comfort—not creating a “perfect” setup.

"Is it too late?" is the question nearly every adult asks before they call — at 30, at 50, at 70.

It isn't. But the goal does change. In a growing spine, the work is about holding the curve back while the skeleton is still moving. In an adult spine, it's about how you feel and function:

🔹 In your 30s — curves can still shift. Work now protects the decades ahead.
🔹 In your 50s — pain and fatigue are usually the real problem, and both respond to treatment.
🔹 In your 70s — balance, breathing and staying upright become the priority.

Adult Schroth isn't the paediatric program repeated. It's adapted for a mature spine, and the aim is a better day rather than a different X-ray: less pain, better posture, slower change over time.

Parents — if your child was just diagnosed with scoliosis, what happens next matters more than almost anything else you’ll do.

Scoliosis doesn’t stand still. Curves worsen fastest during growth spurts, often with no pain to warn you. Caught early, most can be stabilized without bracing or surgery.

We use the Schroth Method — a scoliosis-specific program built around your child’s exact curve, using elongation, rotational breathing and postural retraining. Non-invasive. One-on-one. Evidence-based.
