10 years ago I wanted this life badly enough to sleep on couches for it, and now this city is home.
NYC, the imprint you’ve left is unforgettable.
You gave me a place I had dreamed about long before I ever called it mine. You gave me friendships that became family, communities I didn’t know I needed, and people from every corner of the world who changed the way I see it.
You’ve held so many versions of me over these 10 years.
The girl who showed up with no real plan beyond figuring out how to stay. The one sleeping on couches because being here mattered more than being comfortable. The one navigating new jobs, new apartments, new friendships, new chapters, and all the growing that happened somewhere in between.
And shoutout to the people who have made this place feel like home. You know who you are.
