Dr. Nechama Sorscher

Dr. Nechama Sorscher Dr. Nechama Sorscher is a clinical psychologist specializing in neurocognitive disorders. Dr. Sorscher has been in private practice in New York City since 1993.

She has over 20 years of experience in individual and group counseling, comprehensive neuropsychological evaluations, teaching and supervision of doctoral candidates. She completed her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the Derner Institute of Advanced Psychological Studies at Adelphi University in 1992. Dr. Sorscher also completed her postgraduate psychoanalytic training in the Postdoctoral Program

in Psychotherapy and Psychoanalysis of New York University in 2016. She has ongoing supervision with Dr. Clarice Kestenbaum, who specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center.
