It was an honor moderating the aesthetic breast surgery session alongside such talented colleagues at the Northeastern Society of Plastic Surgeons Spring Meeting. This year’s theme was “Dueling Perspectives: Evolution or Revolution” and this panel focused on preservation breast augmentation with minimally-invasive (Preservé by ) vs. traditional techniques, implant placement above vs. below the muscle, with vs. without a lift, and awake vs. general anesthesia. Whether evolution or revolution, there have never been more options available for customizing this procedure to each patient’s individual anatomy and aesthetic goals.
