It’s been a few full moons since I shared updates. Life has been expanding. I’ve been grounding during the transformation. There has been so much change so I’ve found myself going more Inward and in deep reflection.

I’m feeling the newness in my life and I’m bowing deeply at the gift of fresh starts and “firsts” and returns. I’m feeling deeply held in my quiet. Starting to feel capacious. ✨🫶🏾

What’s wild to me is this: I didn’t grow up without emotions.
I grew up without the language and safety to name them.
If I’m being honest, I spent years performing manhood.
I thought if I was strong enough, steady enough, stoic enough—maybe I’d finally feel like enough.

But here’s the truth nobody tells us: you can’t prove your way into masculinity.
You can’t perform your way into wholeness.
Every message I got said: be a provider, be a protector, be unbreakable. But nobody taught me how to stay emotionally present while protecting and providing.

Nobody taught me how to hold others without losing the ability to hold myself. If I was going to make it as a man, a father, a husband, I felt like I had to earn masculinity. To perform it louder, harder, sharper.

But somewhere along the way, I realized:
real strength is softness.
Real masculinity is presence.
Real courage is letting yourself feel.
I wish we taught boys that from the start.
I wish we gave men permission to stay open.

✨ Because the men you call “distant” are often just untaught.
Unseen.
Unasked.
Unheld.

We’ve learned how to protect, provide, and procreate—
but nobody taught us how to stay present with our hearts.

That’s why I do this work. That’s why I created my frameworks for emotional fluency.

Because we don’t need more perfect men.
We need men who are learning how to feel.

If this resonates, save this, share this with a man you love, and follow me for more. Let’s keep building this conversation. 🖤
