On the second day of Navratri, we honour Maa Brahmacharini, whose divine journey represents devotion, discipline and unwavering determination.

The colour White beautifully reflects her teachings. It reminds us that peace is not merely the absence of difficulties, but the ability to remain calm, compassionate and hopeful through them.

Every new beginning carries a silent prayer โ€” for strength to move forward, stability to stay grounded and hope for all that lies ahead. ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ™

As the sacred nine nights of Navratri begin, we bow to Maa Shailaputri, the first manifestation of Goddess Durga, who embodies strength, stability, devotion and unwavering determination.

Her name means Daughter of the Mountains, reflecting the qualities of firmness, resilience and an unshakable spirit. Just as mountains stand strong through changing seasons, Maa Shailaputri reminds us to remain rooted in our values, even as life takes us through different stages and challenges.

The colour Orange marks this auspicious first day, symbolising warmth, positive energy, enthusiasm and the promise of new beginnings. It encourages us to embrace each day with gratitude, confidence and a heart full of hope.

At My Indian Nursing Home, we believe that the strongest foundations in life are built on love, family, respect and care.
