FREE BLOOD PRESSURE SCREENING EVENTS ACROSS THE MOUNT SINAI HEALTH SYSTEM

Each May, Mount Sinai Fuster Heart Hospital recognizes the American Heart Association’s Stroke & Hypertension Awareness Month. During this community event, we will offer expert advice, tips, screenings & the latest information about heart disease, stroke prevention & treatment.

According to the American Heart Association, heart disease & stroke remain the 1st & 5th leading causes of death for Americans. High blood pressure is both a leading cause of cardiovascular disease, stroke & one of the most controllable risk factors for these conditions. Join us as we raise awareness about the dangers of high blood pressure & educate patients on lifestyle changes that can reduce their risk of heart disease and stroke significantly.

HAVE YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKED & LEARN YOUR RISKS

All sites will be participating in free screenings, which will take place on Wednesday, May 22nd, at Mount Sinai South Nassau & Wednesday, May 29th, at all other locations. We hope to see you there for a free assessment to learn what your blood pressure numbers mean to you.
