One of the most powerful things you can do for your child’s language development is simple: read together. 📚

When we read with children, we’re not just sharing a story. We’re building vocabulary, strengthening listening skills, modeling sentence structure, and creating opportunities for conversation.

Pause to point at pictures. Ask questions. Let them turn the pages. Follow their curiosity.

These small moments are where language grows.

Reading shouldn’t feel frustrating or exhausting for your child. ❤️

If you’re noticing some of these signs, it doesn’t mean something is “wrong” — but it may mean your child needs more support with the foundational skills that make reading easier.

Many early reading struggles are connected to:
• Phonological awareness (rhyming, sound identification)
• Decoding skills
• Language processing
• Confidence and reading stamina

The earlier we identify red flags, the easier it is to build strong, confident readers. ✨

If you’ve been wondering whether your child might need extra support, trust that instinct. Early intervention makes a difference!

Bringing the Olympics into speech therapy 🥇

Today we built a pretend “luge” track and sent our racer down the course — all while targeting speech sounds.

This activity supported:
• repeated practice of target sounds
• sequencing the steps of building the track
• problem solving when the course didn’t work as planned
• describing actions using clear, organized language

When therapy feels like play, students are more engaged — and that’s when the best learning happens.

Purposeful. Playful. Effective.

A private speech and language evaluation offers more than a score.

It provides meaningful insight into your child’s strengths, areas of need, and how those skills impact learning and communication day to day.

Private evaluations allow for:
• individualized assessment
• practical, real-life recommendations
• support with advocacy and next steps
• timely access to care

Whether you’re seeking clarity, confirmation, or guidance, a comprehensive evaluation can help you move forward with confidence.

Building trust and helping children feel at ease is always the first step.

When kids feel comfortable and supported, we’re able to get a clearer picture of their strengths and needs.

So grateful to work with families who trust us in this process. Read the full testimonial below!

“I highly recommend Chloe as a speech therapist for little ones. We were unsure if our 2.5-year-old was behind in her speech and language milestones, so we set up a consultation for a professional assessment. Our daughter usually takes a long time to warm up to new faces, and I was worried she wouldn’t engage with Chloe at all.

However, the moment they met, she immediately gravitated toward her and was verbally responsive, playful, and engaged throughout the entire session. I was genuinely amazed—I’ve never seen her warm up to someone so quickly. It’s clear that Chloe is a true pro with kids. Her warm, positive nature instantly put our daughter at ease, which allowed us to get a clear and confident assessment.

I also really appreciated that Chloe followed up with a written summary of our session along with practical tools to help support our daughter’s ongoing development.

We couldn’t recommend her more.”
