The fact that guys are getting angry about Uber giving women the option for women-only drivers is exactly why women need that option . It's like, if safety's a concern, shouldn't the focus be on making everyone feel comfortable

This kinda pushback highlights the importance of options – if women-only drivers make some users feel safer, isn't that a win It's about choice and addressing specific needs.

What do you think's driving the resistance to these options is it about fairness, misunderstanding the purpose, or something else How can services balance diverse user needs

"Women are so emotional" — yet a man's "bad day" can cost a woman her safety, her sanity, or her life.

Sit with that for a moment.

Women have been told their entire lives that their emotions make them unreliable. Unstable. Too much. We cry and it becomes a punchline. We express anger and suddenly we're irrational. We set a boundary and we're called difficult. Our feelings get used as evidence that we can't be trusted — in boardrooms, in courtrooms, in relationships, in every room that was never built with us in mind.

But a man? A man gets to have a "bad day" that turns violent and the first question isn't about his pattern — it's about what she did to provoke it. He gets to lose control and the world rushes to explain it. His emotions don't make him unstable. They make him misunderstood. They make him someone who just needs patience and the right woman to calm him down.

The double standard isn't subtle. It never was. Women are penalized for feeling too much while men are excused for acting out in ways that leave real damage — emotional, physical, and sometimes permanent.

Your tears never made you dangerous. Not once.

But the world spent so long policing your emotions that it forgot to hold accountable the ones whose unchecked feelings actually cost people everything.

That's not equality. That's a system that was never designed to protect you.
