Sometimes change doesn’t come from one big breakthrough. It starts with a small shift in how you speak to yourself, how you approach a difficult conversation, or how you make space for what you really need.

Whether you’re navigating relationships, dating, body image, anxiety, or your relationship with desire - you don’t have to figure it out all at once.

Therapy can help you understand the patterns you’re in and explore what a different way forward could look like 🧡

Today is World Mental Health Day! ✨

It’s a much-needed reminder that your mental health matters, at every point in the year.

Taking care of yourself doesn’t have to look like taking a big, life-changing step. Sometimes it’s going for a walk, calling a friend, taking a break, or simply giving yourself permission to slow down.

You also don’t need to be struggling to deserve support. It’s okay to ask for help whenever you need it; and to lean on people around you to help you get through life - no matter what you’re going through.

Remember that there is no “perfect” process in caring for your mental health. A hard day doesn’t erase the progress you’ve made, and it’s never too late to start again.

This World Mental Health Day, we hope you’ll give yourself permission to care for your needs, listen to what you need, and take small steps toward a gentler relationship with yourself 🧡

A new month and changing season is a great time to check in with yourself 🍂

This time of year can get a little hectic with autumn activities and holiday planning - but that doesn’t mean you have to match the pace.

In our therapy sessions, we use affirmations to help you slow down, breathe and release the pressure to constantly go, go, go.

📌Save this post as a reminder that it’s okay to slow down.

Dating shouldn’t feel like a chore 🙂‍↔️

Fall is for resetting routines, but your love life shouldn’t feel like another thing on your to-do list.

If you’re single and ready to put yourself out there, the secret isn’t dating more - it’s changing your approach. Building a sustainable, low-pressure “dating routine” starts with clear intentions and knowing exactly what you bring to the table.

Before you schedule that next first date, head to the link in bio to read our latest blog post on how to take the pressure off and make dating fun again 🔗

What’s one boundary you’re setting for your dating life this season? 👇

If any of these landed, you’re exactly who we’re here for.

At LTT, we work with people in their 20s, 30s and 40s navigating the parts of relationships, s*xuality, and identity that don’t always get talked about. The disconnection, the shame, the patterns you can’t seem to break, the desires you’ve never said out loud, the thing you’re carrying that keeps showing up everywhere.

We have two new clinicians with availability now, so if you’ve been thinking about it, this is your sign to take the leap.

✨We offer couples therapy to help partners understand the patterns that keep showing up - how you argue; how your repair, and how you stay connected under stress.

✨If you’re single, we can help you work on patterns around dating, intimacy, self-worth, or past relationship experiences.

✨We help you understand the thoughts and patterns shaping how you see your body, and build a more trusting, compassionate relationship with it.

✨We offer Individual Therapy to help you understand the patterns holding you back so you can move through life with more confidence, self-trust and emotional freedom.

✨We help individuals and couples put words to the things they’ve never said out loud by treating s*x as something worth talking about clearly, not something to tiptoe around.

Calling all bookworms! 🐛 Here are four titles to add to your reading list if you want to learn more about s*x and relationships.

📕”Mating in Captivity” by Esther Perel - this bestselling book explores a foundational challenge of many long-term relationships: the push and pull between safety and risk.

📗”Come As You Are” by Emily Nagoski - this research-packed, accessible guidebook debunks the idea that anyone’s body or s*xuality is “normal”.

📘”Good S*x” by Dr. Candice Nicole - this book looks at the broader cultural factors impacting our access to pleasure, and centres the experiences of folks with marginalized identities.

📙”Reclaiming Pleasure” by Dr. Holly Richmond - an affirming and empowering tool book for cultivating a fulfilling s*x life in the aftermath of s*xual trauma.

Have you read these? Do you have others to add? Let us know in the comments ✨

It might feel like you need to have a “plan” before starting therapy, but that couldn’t be further from the truth. Anyone who wants to get to know themselves better is welcome 🧡

All you need is curiosity and openness to the process, and your therapist can help guide you through the rest. If you don’t have clear goals or desired outcomes, that’s okay! We’ll work on those together with you. You are never alone in this process.

Therapy is a collaborative relationship that grows and changes over time. The hardest part is sometimes taking the first step to get started. From there, it’s about continuing to show up, one session at a time.

If you’re ready to take the first step, book your free consultation at the link in bio ✨

Your nervous system isn’t failing you, it’s trying to protect you.

Not every stress response means your nervous system is “dysregulated”. The internet has turned the nervous system into a buzzword, making it easy to believe that if you’re anxious, overwhelmed, or reactive, something must be wrong with you. But that’s not how it works. Your nervous system is designed to respond to stress. The goal isn’t to feel calm all the time, it’s to build the flexibility to adapt, recover, and feel safe again.

If you’ve ever found yourself wondering, “is this normal, or is something wrong with me?” - this blog is for you ✨

Read it via the link in our bio and save this as a reminder that your nervous system isn’t working against you 🧡
