The Rainbow Clubhouse The Rainbow Clubhouse is a supportive, work-driven community that helps adults with mental health challenges build skills, confidence, and independence.

Bowen Center’s Rainbow Clubhouse is a New York State OMH Approved program for adults living with Serious and Persistent Mental illness who wish to improve the quality of their lives through meaningful Socialization, Mental Health Recovery, Health & Wellness Education/Goals, Career Training and/or Transitional Employment (TEP). The primary goal of Rainbow Clubhouse is to inspire, motivate, assist and support Our Clubhouse Members with developing the necessary Self-Discipline and Skills that they can utilize to secure Ongoing Psychiatric Treatment/Stability, Activities of Daily Living/Self Care, Money Management, Better Health, Permanent Supportive or Independent 2010E or Project Based Section 8 Housing, Educational/Career Opportunities, Temporary or Permanent Employment and/or to also move towards further Mental Health Recovery and Independent Self-Sufficiency. This program provides:

- Work Ordered Day (Clerical Unit/Maintenance Unit/Culinary Unit)
- Vocational training and services (Transitional Employment Program)
- Supported education
- Evidence-based Health and Wellness Group Meetings
- Crisis prevention planning
- Co-occurring disorder Group Meetings
- Smoking cessation classes
- Daily recreational activities

The Rainbow Club is also open on Saturdays for recreation and community trips.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out and helped make our Knicks-themed community photoshoot such a fun and memorable event! Your energy, team spirit, and support made it a great success, and we loved celebrating together as one community.

After 53 years of waiting, New York finally had its moment. The 2026 championship wasn't just about basketball, it was about an entire city coming together.

Every borough, every block, every generation celebrated as one, united by decades of hope, loyalty, and belief.

That same feeling came to life during our Clubhouse Knicks photoshoot. More than just taking photos, we celebrated as a Clubhouse family, reflecting the unity and love that swept across New York.

Because when this city wins, everyone wins and that's what community is all about. 🧡💙🏆
