My New Yearās intentions as an acupuncturist š„
1. Continuing to learn so I can better help my patients š¤
Iāve been doing this a long time, but this year Iām committing to putting extra emphasis on ongoing study, deeper clinical thinking, and challenging myself as a practitioner. The more I refine how I diagnose and treat, the better I can support the people who trust me with their care.
2. Practicing what I preach š¢
I canāt ask my patients to slow down if Iām constantly pushing myself. This year I plan to focus on consistent sleep (when my kids allow for it), warm nourishing meals to support Spleen Qi, and less screen time to support Shen ā not perfection, just integrity.
3. Slowing down to practice gratitude š
Sometimes I forget to take a step back and look at how far Iāve come. Building in small, consistent moments to actually notice what Iāve created ā my practice, my family, and the life that supports both. Less rushing to the next thing, more presence where I am.
Happy New Year š¤
Hereās to a slower, more intentional year ahead.
