HITLAB × BobiHealth: Advancing the Fight Against Preventable Maternal Mortality
HITLAB and BobiHealth are launching a prospective clinical pilot study to evaluate whether AI-powered pregnancy monitoring can help identify potential complications earlier, improve outcomes, and demonstrate measurable value in real-world care.
The initial 30-day pilot will evaluate clinical outcomes, economic impact, and workflow efficiency across 20 participants. Findings will help shape an expanded study of up to 100 participants over 12 months—building the real-world evidence needed to support broader adoption and a potential pilot-to-payment pathway.
At the heart of this collaboration is a critical question:
Can AI-powered monitoring help care teams recognize risk earlier—and ultimately prevent complications that too often become life-threatening?
HITLAB will lead the study’s research and evaluation, including regulatory management, participant recruitment, data collection and analysis, and dissemination of findings to the maternal health and payer communities.
This partnership represents an important step toward moving promising maternal health technology from innovation to clinically validated, evidence-based care.
