At Memory Care community at Coterie at Hudson Yards, we celebrate life's sweetest moments by combining music, meaningful activities, and compassionate care- because every resident deserves opportunities to feel connected, valued, and inspired. We celebrated Strawberry Festival which was filled with smiles, laughter, delicious treats, and the healing power of music. We welcomed Northstar in our community with Music Therapist Theresa who shared her love of music and love of opportunities for music-making with hand drums. With Northstar; engaging in music isn't just enjoyable which proven to support emotional, cognitive, and social wellbeing.

Vive le France! We had an elegant Bastille day celebrating the liberty and unity of France with a live musical concert featuring beloved French composers, followed by a live viewing of the iconic Bastille day parade and spectacular fireworks display. What made the day even more special was the expert analysis of the parade and fireworks by our very own French connection, Resident Engagement Specialist, Axel. Merci, Axel for sharing the traditions and history of your home country with us!

Croquet anyone? We brought the iconic flavors and traditions of Wimbledon and the All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club to Coterie Hudson Yards. We meandered through the afternoon playing croquet and sampling a menu of dishes made with the sweetest of summer strawberries. Happy 250th Birthday America! From front-row views of the iconic "Parade of Sail" on the Hudson to a traditional Americana inspired luncheon, founding fathers-inspired calligraphy workshop, and a live patriotic performance by Randy Andy’s, every moment was thoughtfully curated. The celebration concluded with a bubbly toast, happy hour on the terrace, and breathtaking fireworks illuminating the Manhattan skyline; a memorable day shared together in the heart of New York!

Something special happens when you put on a fedora and a tropical bowtie, we discovered it put us in a very cool Miami state of mind! We spent the day experiencing the tastes, culture and vibes of Little Havana! The atmosphere was vibrant as we hit the dancefloor for a lesson in Cuban Salsa, followed by a live acoustic concert in Lena's Lounge and ending with a Cuban inspired dinner featuring the iconic Cubano pressed sandwich.
