What do you think of being a mother, becoming a mother?
what do you feel when the children are grown
What do you feel when they are adults and your role in thsir lives slides away?
When do you realize that you always remain a mother..that never slides away
The tears you wiped from their sad little baby faces,the time after time their little their heads lay in your lap or you sat with your arms around them
As one day they drift away into adulthood
and you remain longing, steady in place, knowing that on occasion the need returns and u r the constant
