Is your self-tanner actually safe?
New York Magazine’s The Strategist just asked me.
The short answer: after decades of widespread use, we haven’t seen convincing evidence that self-tanners increase skin-cancer risk. Real UV exposure is another story — the evidence against it is overwhelming, for both your health and your skin’s appearance.
