We may often feel that our anger is justified or necessary to get things done. In reality, there is no need for anger!

Anything allegedly “accomplished” by anger can be more effectively and beneficially resolved with patience, wisdom and compassion. In this half-day course, we will learn how to identify the mind of anger and how to replace it with these beneficial mindsets.

Everyone is welcome!

July 18th 🙌

Join us for a special class designed for parents and children to explore meditation together and create a family meditation practice. While the class is especially suited for kids ages 6–11, younger and older children are welcome!

Each session will include a guided, ten-minute meditation, a dharma teaching geared for families and a fun art activity or game to reinforce what we learned.

This workshop will meet on the 3rd Saturday of the month through August, focusing on themes such as compassion, love, patience, and healthy ways to handle strong emotions. No registration is needed and families can join any class at their convenience.

“I seek your blessings to realize the meaning of Nagarjuna's Intention, that there is no contradiction but only harmony between even an atom of inherent existence in samsara and Nirvana and the non-deceptive dependent relationship of cause and effect."

The Middle Way—the view that sees karma and emptiness as complementary—is profoundly liberating. Understanding this view will free our minds and benefit our family, friends and world. Join us as our National Spiritual Director Kadam Morten leads us on this magical journey into the true nature of reality.

Everyone is welcome!

Want to feel truly alive? Cut down on your phone time! Our over-reliance on digital devices takes us out of the present and blocks our connection with others and our own emotions. Our phones can also be a breeding ground for negative mindsets like addiction, loneliness and low self-esteem.

This workshop will offer practical strategies for cutting down on digital distraction using timeless Buddhist teachings. We will learn how to create realistic boundaries for our device use and relate to our emotions in healthy ways rather than escaping into our devices. Finally, we will see how to extract the greatest meaning from our life with the space we’ve created.
