📚 Two of the most prolific Romanian-American authors, both revered physicians with a passion for words, return to RCI New York on June 23 to discuss and read from their most recent books. While different in subject and style, Adrian Sângeorzan’s Vitaly. A Ukrainian-Russian American Story (translated by James Ryan, New Meridian Arts, 2023) and William Maz’s The Bucharest Legacy. The Rise of the Oligarchs (Oceanview Publishing, 2023) attest the same preference for luxuriant plots, the attraction to twisted characters, and the gift of keeping the reader hooked and bedazzled.
