Dr. Henry attended medical school at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas and completed her residency in dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, where she served as a Chief Resident. Following residency, she completed a fellowship in cutaneous oncology, Mohs, laser and reconstructive surgery with the Harvard Department of Dermatology at the Lahey Clinic in Boston, Massachus

GLP-1 medications have completely transformed the wellness space—and the skin is uniquely affected. As a dermatologist, I am deeply invested in and fascinated by researching these effects.

Loved sitting down with Dr. Avani Sinha (.avnis ), Heather Gay ( ), and Brian Underwood ( ) to unpack “Skin in Transition.” We broke down what’s really happening to skin elasticity and hydration during rapid metabolic shifts, and how women can adapt.

What an incredible few days at 2026 in Nashville! 🤠

I was honored to speak on some of my favorite topics: the art and science of dermal fillers, best techniques for natural-looking results, and the evolving role of AI in dermatology.

I also had the privilege of serving on advisory boards with companies exploring what’s next in GLP-1 medications, menopause skincare, hyperpigmentation, nutritional supplements, and sun care — all areas that are reshaping how we think about skin health, beauty, and longevity.

But the best part, always, was the people. Seeing so many brilliant colleagues and dear friends filled my cup.

Board-certified dermatologist perspective: I’ve historically prohibited fragranced hair care for my sensitive scalp patients. The risk of contact dermatitis outweighed any aesthetic benefit. ’s Sensitive Series Shampoo and Conditioner required me to revise that protocol.
I use Bare Coconut. My patients now have an option that doesn’t feel like a medical compromise.

This morning, I had the incredible honor of leading the Cosmetic Symposium at the 130th Atlantic Dermatologic Conference—founded way back in 1923! It was such a fantastic experience, especially because I got to do it alongside three of my favorite people—who also happen to be some of the best cosmetic dermatologists in the city! We covered modern aesthetics, structural injection techniques, biostimulatory fillers, and optimizing neuromodulator treatments. We even hosted a live injection session diving deeper into anatomy. Huge thanks to Roger Ho and George Han for having me—they were outstanding co-chairs! I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as I did!
