CCHP stands in solidarity with Harlem Pride’s mission to empower the LGBTQIA+ community, including family, friends, and allies, to take care of their physical, mental, and economic health, and to celebrate the LGBTQIA+ community’s role in Harlem’s vibrant history. 🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️

We hosted our first-ever Healthy East Harlem Open House this spring!

We were proud to welcome our neighbors into CCHP so they can see firsthand the comprehensive care we provide to the community. ☀️🎉🫀🏥

All of our departments and programs were represented along the journey, showcasing all of the different services we provide. We connected with more than 60 families that day, most of whom were meeting us for the very first time.

During the event:
Our medical team provided hundreds of free medical services 🩺
Our behavioral health team provided dozens of overdose prevention trainings, and handed out over 30 lifesaving Narcan kits 🛟
Our patient navigators spoke to over 30 members of our community to connect them to social services like housing, food, and transportation, through the Social Care Network 🏘️
We hosted over a dozen of our community partners and funders who support the work we do 🤝

And had a good time along the way! 🎊

As Nilsa Orama, CCHP patient and board member said during the event, “if you want someone who really cares about you, and actually makes it worthwhile to take care of your health, this is the place to be.”

We’re here in Central Park for the 41st annual AIDS Walk New York! 🌲

We’re proud to walk in honor of those lost to the epidemic, in solidarity against the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS, and in support of making sure everyone gets the care they need and deserve. 🤝

A core part of CCHP’s mission is providing caring, well-rounded prevention, education, and treatment of HIV. We offer a variety of services from low-to-no cost HIV/STI testing, medical case management, and patient navigation. We work to overcome roadblocks to receiving care and to provide a comprehensive health model to address the physical, emotional and social needs of our patients and their families.

Our services are available to anyone regardless of their race, color, national origin, disability, religion, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, or ability to pay.

It is an honor to stand with our community to stride towards every New Yorker having equitable access to HIV testing, treatment, and care.
