When I saw this cover, I didn’t see Spider-Man. I saw my son, Gian ❤️
I saw him in the hospital bed at Bellevue after surviving a violent stabbing, I saw the doctors and nurses who helped save his life. And I saw how quickly a young man’s entire world can change. Gian survived, and for that. I will be grateful for the rest of my life, but surviving was only the beginning. His healing continues physically, emotionally and mentally as his mother I’m doing everything to make sure he has the support and care he needs to recover from this trauma. We have been overwhelmed by the love surrounding Gian and incredibly grateful for every person who has donated and shared his story. We are getting closer to our GoFundMe goal but we still need your help.
