It is often said that no two journeys are ever the same and nowhere is that truer than in the experience of cancer. Each cancer journey is as unique as the fingerprints of every resilient survivor. While cancer may be diagnosed in the body, it is experienced by the whole person. Its effects often extend beyond the physical, leaving lasting impressions on our thoughts, energy, emotions, relationships, and sense of self.

Hear from our Integrative Health Program Manager, Darah Salmaggi, MS, for an introduction on the foundations of Clinical EFT, including a demonstration on acupoint tapping, one of its core techniques. Participants will learn about the emerging research exploring the role of Clinical EFT in stress, oncology, and survivorship and will be invited to experience a guided practice they can incorporate into their own self-care. Together, we'll explore how Clinical Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) may support emotional well-being, resilience, and quality of life as part of a comprehensive approach to wellness.

Incredibly proud of our Clinical Trials Office (CTO) for showcasing innovative strategies to advance cancer research at the Association of American Cancer Institutes (AACI) Clinical Research Innovation Annual Meeting this week!

Our team presented 11 posters and a third-place award-winning abstract. Senior Director Ankeeta Joshi also served as a panelist for “Driving Faster and Smarter Study Start-up,” a discussion focused on improving clinical trial operations nationwide.
