Mindful Bubble Workshop:💡Watch the bubbles of all sizes float, dissolve, pop, and gently touch the ground.
This exercise is about watch our thoughts, observing them just like we observe bubbles.
Notice thoughts appearing or all different sizes. Don’t judge or engage—just watch like scientist observing experiment.
Notice: Do thoughts flow (beginning, middle, end)? Or get stuck (loop/repeat)?
Recognize the Patterns in your thinking
Ask: Is this thought TRUE? Or just HABIT (pattern)? Remember: Patterns are not truth, just familiar.
Emotional Defusion: this just means we don’t follow the emotional journey a thought urges us to follow.
Just like all the bubbles eventually clear out, so do our thoughts if we do not engage with them. And when you see that the space is clear-no bubbles, you are left with your present self. Your body, mind, and notice you are still thinking but instead of following your thoughts (past, future, liking, disliking) you are just in the moment.
After the bubbles, we created our own thought bubbles, choosing where we want to place our attention. The biggest bubble is what makes us feel good, happy, builds confidence and self-esteem. The other bubbles exist-we acknowledge our other emotions and thoughts that do not feel so good. That is because, it’s honest just not dominating our mood or life experiences.
