In Loving Memory of Cynthia Kingren
September 25, 1958 – October 18, 2026
Cynthia Kingren was born on September 25, 1958, in Brooklyn, New York, and spent her entire life in New York. She passed away peacefully on October 18, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family.
Cynthia was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, niece, and friend whose greatest joy in life was simply being surrounded by the people she loved.
Throughout her life, Cynthia held various jobs, including working as an assistant for Encore Sales, Inc., a medical biller, cashier, and at a local laundromat, where she formed some of the most wonderful friendships. But above all, her most meaningful role was that of a devoted mother and homemaker. Her family was always at the center of her world, and nothing brought her greater happiness than her children and especially her three beloved grandsons.
Cynthia had a special gift for making people feel loved and heard. She enjoyed the simple pleasures in life…a good cup of coffee, a friendly conversation, and talking about anything and everything, even when it was about absolutely nothing at all. She wasn't one for drama or dwelling on life's problems. She preferred laughter, kindness, and enjoying the moment. She rarely complained and always seemed happy just to hear a familiar voice. No matter how long the conversation lasted, Cynthia never made anyone feel rushed. She always had time for the people she loved.
From a young age, Cynthia had a natural love for people, especially older generations. She loved to talk, sing, share stories, and simply enjoy their company. Her warmth, kindness, and genuine interest in others stayed with her throughout her life.
Cynthia believed in doing what was right when it came to her family, treating people with kindness, and offering love and support without ever expecting anything in return. She loved her people fiercely, and once you were one of her people, you always were.
Affectionately known as the "Little Bull," Cynthia possessed a simple yet quiet strength and determination that carried her through life's many challenges. Even in her final days, that fighting spirit never left her. She remained our Little Bull until the very end.
Cynthia's life was not measured by material things or grand accomplishments, but by the love she gave, the friendships she made, and the countless lives she touched simply by being herself.
She was deeply loved, and her absence will be felt by so many. The memories of her laughter, her conversations, her kindness, and her unconditional love will remain in our hearts forever.
Surviving Family
Cynthia was the beloved mother of Kristina Fitzgerald and her husband, Kyle Fitzgerald; Michael Kingren and his wife, Nicole Kingren; and Jeanarline Nicholas and her fiancé Najee McFadden.
She was the proud and loving Memaw of her three cherished grandsons, Oliver, Jaxx, and Ace, who brought immeasurable joy to her life.
She was the loving sister of Madeline Nedry and sister-in-law of Douglas Nedry; beloved niece of Lillian Pennino and Toni Lynn Keating and Charlene Pennino; beloved sister-in-law of Felicia Fiore and Elizabeth Buckley, and stepdaughter of Michael Tskerkezis. She is also survived by eight nieces and nephews, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory.
Cynthia was predeceased by her beloved firstborn daughter, Carissa Kingren, and her beloved mother Jean Tserkezis and her beloved brother Keith Fiore, and her uncle Frank Pennino who will forever remain a cherished part of her story and her heart.

Cynthia, you may be gone from our sight, but never from our hearts. We will miss your voice, your laughter, your strength, and most of all, the simple joy of having you in our lives. You will always be our Little Bull.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever remembered.
