Join the NYCPS Addiction Committee next week for this exciting event!
As 7-hydroxymitragynine (7-OH) and other emerging opioid products become increasingly visible in clinical practice, this program will bring together addiction clinicians, recovery professionals, and patients with lived experience for a practical discussion of what we are seeing and how we should respond.
We’ll cover the pharmacology of 7-OH and related compounds, patterns of use, dependence and withdrawal, clinical management, and the patient and family experience, followed by a moderated panel and Q&A.
The event is designed for a broad audience, including addiction specialists, general psychiatrists, trainees, and other clinicians who may encounter these substances in practice.
