Our Care & Outreach Coordinator Jennifer Pimental regularly visits community programs to learn about resources that can benefit our families. This week, she had the opportunity to visit Intensive Therapeutics, Inc. in New Jersey and see their Helping Hands and Leaps & Bounds camps in action. 💙

The team at Intensive Therapeutics has mastered the art of making hard work fun. Every room was buzzing with joy, encouragement, and determination. Children are grouped by age and ability but every program is individualized based on their goals.

What stood out most was their commitment to supporting participants as they grow. For young adults who have aged through their program, Intensive Therapeutics offers opportunities like an adapted golf cart for learning driving skills and the IT WORKS Café, where participants gain valuable vocational experience.

It’s easy to see why families return year after year, from across the country and even around the world. We loved learning more about this incredible program and look forward to sharing it with the families we serve.

Huge thank you to Scott and Alex for their hospitality!
