OxCIN Global Scholars is a programme that remotely affiliates early-career researchers in the Global South with OxCIN for one year. The programme aims to build ties between OxCIN and MRI researchers in parts of the world where we have fewer links. Global Scholars continue their research projects at their current institution, while receiving remote training and opportunities to interact with OxCIN researchers.

Huge congratulations to the entire team. Srishti Subedi, Yashawant Kumar Yadav, Usha, Dr. Utsav Shrestha, Dr. Pradeepa Ruwan, Dr. Ram, Tara Khanal Madam. This was huge, probably the first time showing the findings of Digital Breast Tomosynthesis from Nepal on an international platform. Ms. Shristi et al demonstrated that the dose to the breast tissue has a relationship with age, BMI, and breast thickness.

The ISMRT Nepalese National Chapter is pleased to announce a highly prestigious workshop by Dr. Suraj Serai on Quantitative Liver MRI and Brain Spectroscopy. Dr. Serai is an MR Scientist and Magnetic Resonance Safety Expert at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP), and an Associate Professor of Radiology at the University of Pennsylvania. He will be giving an onsite lecture and hands-on training on Quantitative liver MRI and Brain Spectroscopy.
