NAMI NYC Staten Island is proud to participate in the Out of the Darkness Community Walk supporting the American Foundation for Su***de Prevention (AFSP).

We invite our NAMI family, friends, supporters, and community members to walk alongside us as we come together to raise awareness, promote su***de prevention, honor those we have lost, and support those affected by su***de.

This free 8-week program is designed for family members and caregivers supporting a loved one living with mental illness. Youโ€™ll gain knowledge, practical tools, communication skills, understanding, andโ€”most importantlyโ€”the support of people who truly understand.
