Reiki practitioners should have a regular and diligent practice of clearing the energy of their homes, land, cars, and workplaces. Doing so helps to release their clients’ energies, and provide clarity from the energies of those around them. Reiki practitioners will often feel “corded” to other people’s thoughts, emotions, symptoms, and experiences if they don’t fully honor their energetic space.

What are the benefits of energetic space clearing?

1. Release energies of previous dwellers of a particular land or home
2. Release the energies of other people, events, and situations that may be affecting your wellbeing
3. Free spirits and entities that may be stuck in a space
4. Create protection around your home
5. Keep negative energy away
6. Helps access intuitive clarity, and creativity
7. Helps to heal relationship dynamics within the home or office
8. Supports us in feeling safe and at home, as we reclaim our space

Your Reiki practice isn’t just about the hand positions you use or the symbols you draw. It’s about the state of heart and mind you bring to the table. 🕊️

When we focus too much on "doing" the technique right, we can accidentally block the very flow we’re trying to channel. Real transformation happens when we shift our focus to our inner landscape. Whether you are a beginner or have been practicing for decades, cultivating specific qualities like patience, trust, and a beginner’s mind allows you to become a truly clear vessel for Universal consciousness.
