📚📣 Back to School Season is coming up! 📣📚 Below are some important details regarding our checklist:

🍃Requesting school forms 📝 ➡️ Make sure your child is up-to-date with his or her wellness exam! If not, give us a call at 646-588-1229 and we can help get something scheduled. We ask for a three-day turnaround to get any forms filled out and sent back to you.

🍃Scheduling a Flu Shot 💉➡️ Starting on Wednesday, September 9th, our flu vaccine clinic will be open on Wednesdays and Fridays! 🗓️ Give us a call to get a vaccine visit scheduled.

🍃RSV antibody shot 💉➡️ Babies born after March 1 of this year may need an antibody injection to protect against Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) if they haven’t had one prior. Give us a call if you have any questions and/or if you’d like to get a visit on the calendar.

Meet our new MAs! ⬇️😄

💉 Alexandra started with us as an intern last fall! She recently graduated from NYU with a degree in Public Health and Biology. 🧬🔬She is currently applying for medical school, hoping to start next fall. ⚕️She loves to bake, and her favorite thing to make is cinnamon rolls ☺️

💉 Charlotte started with us earlier this summer! She grew up in San Francisco and moved to New York 4 years ago. 🌉🗽She graduated from New York University in May 2026 as a Psychology and pre-medical student. When she is not working, she loves going for long walks in the city, doing arts and crafts, and spending time friends. 🎨 She is so excited to be joining the SOHA family! 🎉

Last week we said goodbye to Seela, who’s been a Medical Assistant with us since last summer! She joined Soha for her gap year in between undergraduate and medical school☺️

Seela is headed off to Atlanta, Georgia to pursue her MD at Emory University’s School of Medicine! 🩺👩‍⚕️ Though we will certainly miss her, we are so excited for what’s in store for her as she works towards her future 💫

At Soha, we continue to adhere to the immunization schedule from the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP). 💉 This schedule provides the latest, most trusted guidance on when children and teens should receive each immunization. 🗓️
