One of the simplest ways to practise Havening Touch is through gentle, soothing movements along the arms.
Using slow, intentional touch from the shoulders towards the elbows can create calming sensory input while giving the brain a cue of safety in the present moment.
You can use Arm Havening while taking a few slow breaths, thinking of somewhere you feel peaceful, listening to music, or simply allowing yourself a moment to settle.
Sometimes support can look as simple as giving your brain a different sensory experience.
Save this for the next time you need a moment to come back to yourself.
