Mindful Mami - Birth & Body A self-proclaimed geek, Jessica Smiley has always been in awe of nature and the biology of the human body.

This inspires her ever growing quest to foster wellness within herself and community at large. Jess discovered her affinity for all things related to birth and nurturing during her own pregnancy. When friends, family, and even friends of friends began coming to her for information and support in their birth, baby-wearing and nursing journeys, a passion and call to serve was realized. As a women of

color herself, Jess prioritizes offering and being that platform to address the disparities in birth and infant care and outcomes for people of color. Mindful Mami | Birth & Body is the manifestation of Jess' commitments to inclusiveness, respecting the intelligence of human design, evidence based information, and upholding client birth choices. We use informed choices and mindfulness as tools for self empowerment during the childbearing year and beyond.
