I am truly honored to share that I have been named one of Newsweek's America's Best Plastic Surgeons 2026 for the sixth consecutive year.

This recognition spans all six categories: Breast Augmentation, Tummy Tuck, Eyelid Surgery, Rhinoplasty, Liposuction and Facelift.

What makes this distinction especially rewarding is that it comes from the physicians and surgeons who know our profession and peers best. Thousands of colleagues across the country evaluate not only surgical results, but also consultation, patient care, and follow up. That makes this recognition one I value deeply.

To be clear, this is not an individual accomplishment. I am incredibly fortunate to work alongside an extraordinary team whose intelligence, compassion, and commitment to excellence elevate every patient experience, and make our practice what it is.

Most of all, I want to thank my patients. Your trust is something I never take for granted. It is a privilege to care for you, and to do the work that I genuinely love every single day.

Huge thanks to and the wonderful for including my thoughts in today’s story.

Cosmetic medical procedures have become so commonplace that it’s easy to forget one important fact: they’re still medical procedures.

I was stunned hearing about the newest trend of ordering mystery injectables online and performing “DIY lipo,” fillers, or neuromodulators at home. My advice: don’t do it!!

People might think the worst outcome is that it doesn't work. It isn't. That’s your best case-scenario. The more likely outcomes are likely to land you in the emergency room.

Medicine isn’t just about following a DIY recipe. It’s knowing what you’re injecting, where you’re injecting it, who should and shouldn’t be treated, and what to do when something goes wrong (and how best to avoid that).

Thank you again to Marie Claire and Hannah for shining a light on an important topic.

This 24-year-old patient sought a subtle, elegant breast augmentation to enhance her proportions while preserving a soft, natural appearance. Her goal was refined, balanced, and unmistakably "her." She wanted to avoid looking "done."

Given her rigorous yoga practice, commitment to fitness, and favorable anatomy, we elected to place Motiva Ergonomix ESRM 185 cc implants in the subfascial (above the muscle) plane through inframammary incisions.

There has been growing interest in above the muscle breast augmentation, including the Preservé technique and subfascial implant placement. In carefully selected patients, an above the muscle approach can be an excellent option. The key is not following a trend, but selecting the right implant, the right plane, and the right operation for each individual patient.

After abdominoplasty with liposuction, the most meaningful change is the one not visible in these images.

Like many mothers, this 41-year-old worked hard to regain her pre-pregnancy shape through healthy habits and exercise after two pregnancies, the second with a 10-pound baby.

Despite her dedication, pregnancy left changes that would not yield to discipline alone, including abdominal muscle separation, excess skin, and persistent local and regional fat.

Today, the flatter and more defined abdomen, improved silhouette, and refined waistline are easy to see, but most importantly, she feels like herself again.

Mommy makeover results are never just about a flatter tummy. They're about helping patients reclaim the confidence that pregnancy, childbirth, and time can sometimes take away.

From feeling disconnected from her body to loving it again, she feels stronger and more confident than ever.

"I'm not tired, I just look tired." It's a complaint I hear almost daily. The eyes are often the first area to signal fatigue and age, even when you feel vibrant and well-rested. Makeup often settles into the creases and contours, accentuating rather than disguising them. Most don't want to look different, they simply want to look refreshed and like themselves again.

This 48-year-old patient underwent an upper and lower blepharoplasty with autologous fat transfer to the lid-cheek junction. One of the reasons I love this procedure is that the transformation is subtle, elegant, and natural. Recovery is quick, and the response from friends and family is almost always the same: You look amazing...have you been sleeping more?

Refreshed, never "done."

How soon can you exercise after breast augmentation? Sooner than you think, but with a few important modifications:

Week 1: You’ll feel well enough, but take it slowly. Walking around the house and short walks outside are fine, but this is a crucial time to protect your results, minimize swelling, and let everything settle without stress.

Week 2 (Starting day 7): Light walking increases, and you can ease back into light activity, but nothing that strains your chest or feels like a real workout.

Day 14 through Week 4: This is when you can actually get back to the gym. Elliptical, stationary bike, treadmill, and longer walks are encouraged. Light core, air squats, and lunges are fine. The key is still avoiding any chest activation or high-impact cardio.

Weeks 4–6: Gradual progression. You can build intensity and start working your way back toward your normal routine, but still be mindful of pec muscle activation and high impact.

6 weeks and beyond: Most are ready to return to full activity. Running, yoga, Pilates, push-ups, planks, and strength training.

Always listen to your body as you increase your activity. The take-home: a little discipline early on makes a big difference in the long run.

This 27-year-old woman felt she always had small breasts and wanted more fullness while still looking absolutely natural. We achieved that look through a transaxillary endoscopic approach, with an incision hidden in the underarm. If you find yourself searching for it in the after photos, you’re not alone!

Many women considering breast augmentation find themselves wondering about the specifics: implant type, incision, pocket placement, size. Those details matter, but not as much as your unique anatomy and preferences. When planning is individualized and technique is precise, those variables become far less important than overall balance and beauty.

This result is a testament to careful surgical planning and technique at every step: from precise endoscopic pocket creation (dual plane), to thoughtful implant size selection (150 cc), to implant selection (guess which type, I bet you can’t!), to meticulous closure designed to leave the most inconspicuous incision possible.

The most beautiful surgical outcomes are defined not by what you notice, but by what you don’t.

This is an example of one of the most common stories I encounter in my practice: this 39-year-old mother of four had done everything from diet to consistent workouts to specialized core physical therapy, all in the hopes of regaining her strength and contour after multiple pregnancies.

Despite her dedication, her diastasis recti (abdominal muscle separation) persisted, causing both discomfort and self-consciousness. Through abdominoplasty and regional suction lipectomy (tummy tuck with liposuction), we restored her core integrity and helped her reclaim her pre-pregnancy silhouette.

Take a look at her after photos; this transformation is a reminder that plastic surgery isn't solely about aesthetics, but also about restoring function, strength, and confidence.
