What you eat may play a role in how you feel. πŸ’›

While there's no single diet that treats endometriosis, making thoughtful nutrition and lifestyle choices may help support your overall health and reduce inflammation.

Our Endometriosis-Friendly Diet Checklist includes simple reminders to help you build sustainable habits, including:

πŸ₯¬ Prioritizing anti-inflammatory foods like leafy greens, berries, and fatty fish
🌾 Eating fiber-rich foods to support gut and hormone health
🚰 Staying hydrated throughout the day
🍡 Incorporating soothing beverages like ginger, chamomile, or turmeric tea
πŸ’Š Discussing supplements such as omega-3s, magnesium, or vitamin D with your healthcare provider

Small, consistent changes can make a meaningful difference in how you support your body.

Save this checklist for future reference and share it with someone navigating endometriosis. πŸ’œ

We see you.

This National Wellness Month, remember that wellness isn't just about eating healthy or exercising. Sometimes, wellness is finally finding answers. It's feeling heard. It's having the energy to say "yes" to the things you love again.

Because healing isn't just about reducing pain, it's about getting your life back. πŸ’œ

We're honored to be featured by Fierce Healthcare for our partnership with Project Endo and the launch of the University Health Initiative (UHI), a national effort to improve early recognition of endometriosis and chronic pelvic pain on college campuses.

For far too long, students experiencing debilitating pelvic pain have been told their symptoms are "normal," often leading to years of delayed diagnosis and unnecessary suffering.

Through the University Health Initiative, PRM and Project Endo are working to change that by providing colleges and universities with educational resources, awareness tools, and referral pathways that empower campus health professionals to recognize the signs of endometriosis sooner.

This recognition highlights the importance of improving education, expanding access to specialized care, and ensuring students receive the support they deserve, earlier.

Thank you to Fierce Healthcare for helping shine a light on this important work.

Fibroids are one of the most common benign tumors of the uterus, but having fibroids does not automatically mean you need a hysterectomy.

Treatment depends on several factors, including:
βœ”οΈ Your symptoms
βœ”οΈ The size, number, and location of the fibroids
βœ”οΈ Your fertility goals
βœ”οΈ Your personal preferences

In this video, Dr. Tarek Toubia explains the difference between myomectomy (removing the fibroids while preserving the uterus) and hysterectomy (removing the uterus), and why there's no one-size-fits-all approach to treatment.

He also discusses the importance of fibroid mapping with MRI, which helps surgeons understand exactly where fibroids are located and determine the safest, most effective surgical plan.

The best treatment isn't the same for everyone, it's the one that aligns with your goals and provides the best chance for lasting symptom relief.

07/30/2026

Adenomyosis and fibroids are two different gynecologic conditions, but they can occur at the same time, and when they do, symptoms may become more severe.

Adenomyosis occurs when tissue similar to the uterine lining grows into the muscular wall of the uterus, often causing inflammation and painful, heavy periods.

Fibroids are noncancerous growths that develop in or around the uterus and can contribute to heavy bleeding, pelvic pressure, and an enlarged uterus.

When these conditions overlap, you may experience:
β€’ Heavy or prolonged menstrual bleeding
β€’ Pelvic pain or cramping
β€’ Painful periods
β€’ Uterine enlargement and abdominal bloating
β€’ Pain during in*******se
β€’ Chronic fatigue and emotional distress caused by ongoing symptoms

Because many of these symptoms overlap, it can be difficult to know which condition is responsible, or whether both are present. A thorough evaluation can help identify the underlying causes of your symptoms and guide the most appropriate treatment plan.

If your periods are consistently disrupting your daily life, causing significant pain, or leaving you exhausted month after month, it's worth having a conversation with a pelvic health specialist. Painful or debilitating symptoms should never be dismissed as "normal."

πŸ’œ Understanding your symptoms is the first step toward finding relief.
